Camp Tapawingo is looking for a Tapawingo Kitchen Assistant available to work part-time hours on a year-round basis. This position will include working up to 16 hours per week through the summer and then move to part-time weekend work year around.
Skills Needed:
- At least 21 years of age and able to commit to one year employment
- Lives locally and is available part-time, year-round
- Can work quickly and under pressure for up to 10 hours a day
- Has experience preparing and serving food to large groups
- Stays organized and focused on tasks
- Can manage time so meals are served on time and the kitchen kept tidy and sanitized
- Relates positively with the Kitchen Staff
- Be the “Face at the Window” and treat guests with respect, answer questions and take care of requests
- Understands and uses common sense when working with food to minimize waste and expense
- Supports our Statement of Faith and Camp Ministry Goals
- Obtain a current Oregon Food Handler’s License
- Hourly Rate: $16 per hour
