Do You Believe This?

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.  We believe in the one living and true God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, His atoning death through His shed blood, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory. We believe salvation from sin and death comes through faith in Christ’s redeeming sacrifice.  We believe the indwelling Holy Spirit enables Christians to live godly lives.  We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.  We believe in God’s definition of human sexuality and marriage as stated in the Bible.

Camp Tapawingo’s Policies

We are ministry driven by providing a camp experience that is marked by kindness, grace, humility, respect and exceptional service.

We are relationally connected to the staff, campers and guests by creating a place they can call home. We are committed to our own personal spiritual growth and strive to encourage each other in their faithfulness to Christ.

We are striving for continual improvement and responsible care of our property.

As a team member of Camp Tapawingo we will strive to maintain personal integrity in our speech and conduct.  We will seek to be a positive example to our guests by speaking in a kind and respectful manner to those around us.

We will strive to maintain unity and relate to other employees, ministry volunteers, and family members of employees with the respect that is due fellow servants of Christ.

We will avoid abusive or manipulative actions, and not gossip, lie, or participate in mean spirited behaviors.  We will go directly to another team member to express any concerns and work to resolve our differences in a respectful way.  We will actively seek to honor each person, loving and serving them as Jesus taught.

We will recognize that the skills and experience of each team member has value and we will collaborate as needed to support each other and further the ministry of Tapawingo.
